How Little Haven DNA testing works

We do not mail out kits.

From credits to results

Your dashboard keeps the order number, sample numbers, status updates, results, and certificates together in one place.

    Create your account

    Start with a free portal account so your credits, orders, and finished results stay connected to you.

  2. 2

    Or place an order

    Order how many tests you need for today, or buy credits to split between orders later.

  3. 3

    Use credits from your dashboard

    When your samples are ready to mail, open your dashboard and use your credits to start the order you are sending to the lab.

    Enter each sample

    Add the details for every sample in that order. The dashboard assigns each one a sample number, and that sample number is the only label needed on the matching DNA baggie.

    Submit your order

    After you submit the order, your dashboard will show the order number and the Little Haven DNA mailing address.

    Mail your samples

    Place your labeled samples in an envelope and include the order number, or write the order number on the outside of the envelope.

  7. 7

    Watch the status change

    When your samples arrive, you will receive an email and your dashboard will show that they were received. Once testing has started, the status will move to in progress.

  8. 8

    View results and certificates

    When results are ready, you will receive another email. Use the View Results button in your dashboard to see each result and print certificates for your records.
