Our Program

My two daughters show our rabbits in 4H and ARBA, and our rabbitry is officially registered with ARBA. Every single rabbit here is fully pedigreed. We breed intentionally and selectively, focusing first on type for the show table and second on temperament for the perfect pet.

Type matters. A true Netherland Dwarf should have a short compact body, bold head, short ears, and that unmistakable baby faced expression. We are constantly refining structure while preserving personality.

Temperament and Socialization

Our babies are handled every single day from birth. They are raised around dogs, cats, chickens, and the normal sounds of a busy homestead. We joke that we have well abused babies because of how often they are out of their cages being loved on, carried, photographed, and played with.

Because of this constant interaction, our rabbits are confident, people oriented, and adjust beautifully to new homes. We care just as much about personality as we do about show quality.

Breed Overview

The Netherland Dwarf is one of the smallest recognized rabbit breeds. Mature dwarfs typically weigh between 2 and 2.5 pounds, with the largest false dwarfs reaching around 3 pounds.

True dwarfs carry the dwarfing gene and have the short compact body, bold head, and extremely short ears that define the breed. False dwarfs do not carry the dwarf gene but are often valuable in breeding programs for maintaining size balance and structure.

Their expressive eyes, rounded heads, and tiny upright ears are what make them so recognizable and so loved.

Colors We Work With

We work with multiple colors within the breed, including Siamese Sable, Smoke Pearl, and additional lines that complement our program goals.

Color is important, but it always comes after structure and temperament. A beautiful coat means nothing without correct body type and a steady personality.

Netherland Dwarfs are bold for their size. They are intelligent, expressive, and full of personality in a tiny body. When properly socialized, they are affectionate and interactive, making them incredible companions as well as competitive show rabbits.

Watching our daughters grow in 4H and ARBA through these rabbits has been one of the greatest blessings of this journey. We are proud of the animals we produce and the families they become part of.
